Özet
Bu çalışmada Türk eğitim tarihinde bir dönüm noktası olan Köy Enstitülerinin kurulması, amaçları, işlevleri ve Türk eğitim tarihindeki önemi Sivas Yıldızeli Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsü örneklemi üzerinden incelenerek bu kurumların Türk eğitim tarihi içerisindeki yeri ve önemi, kuruldukları il ve topluma katkılarının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Örnek olarak seçilen Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsü kuruluşu, faaliyetleri ve eğitime katkıları değerlendirilmiştir Literatür taraması yöntemiyle çalışılmış olan bu araştırmada ilk olarak Osmanlıdan cumhuriyete eğitim ve öğretmen yetiştirme sorununa, cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında eğitim alanında yapılan reformlara, köy enstitülerinin ortaya çıkışı, Köy Enstitülerinin yapılanması, işleyişi önemi ve gerçekçi bir çözüm arayışının en etkili öncü kurumları olan, Köy Enstitülerinin kapanışı incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın ana kısmı olan ikinci bölümde Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsü' nün açılışı, Pamukpınar bölgesinin coğrafi, fiziki ve altyapı özellikleri, Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsü' ne öğrenci alımı ve öğrenci özellikleri, bu öğrencilerin İhtiyaçlarının karşılanması, idareci kadro ve enstitüde eğitim veren öğretmenlere, Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsünde gösterilen ders içeriklerine, enstitünün işleyişi ve önemi, eğitimde oynadığı rol ve kapanışı araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise Pamukpınar'ın tarihsel gelişim süreci içerisinde sosyo kültürel yapısına, Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsünden mezun olmuş alanında ün yapan öğretmenlere, Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsünden mezun olan öğretmenlerin Sivas iline ve ülkeye katkıları incelenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Bu araştırma sonucunda Pamukpınar Köy Enstitüsü, tıpkı değer köy enstitüleri gibi, toplumun eğitilmesinde, tabandan tavana aydınlanma prensipleri doğrultusunda köylünün bilinçlenmesi ve çağdaşlaşması ana amacı doğrultusunda başarılı faaliyetler gerçekleştirdiği, bu ana amaç yanında Sivas ili ve çevre illere kültür, sanat, eğitim ve toplumsal yaşam konularında büyük katkılar sağladığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the place and importance of these institutions in Turkish education history and their contributions to the province and society by examining the establishment of Village Institutes, which is a turning point in the history of Turkish education, their purposes, functions and their importance in Turkish education history through the sample of Pamukpınar Village Institute of Sivas Yıldızeli. Pamukpınar Village Institute organization selected as an example, its activities and contributions to education were evaluated. In this study, which has been studied with the method of literature review, firstly the problem of education and teacher training from the Ottoman to the republic, the reforms in the field of education in the first years of the republic, the emergence of village institutes, the structuring and functioning of the Village Institutes and the most effective pioneering institutions of the search for a realistic solution, Village Institute ' The closure of the ss was examined. In the second part, which is the main part of the study, the opening of the Pamukpınar Village Institute, the geographical, physical and infrastructure features of Pamukpınar region, student admission to Pamukpınar Village Institute and student characteristics, meeting the needs of these students, the administrative staff and the teachers who teach at the institute, the course contents, the functioning and importance of the institute, its role in education and its closure were investigated. In the last part of the study, contributions to the socio-cultural structure of Pamukpınar, to the teachers who graduated from Pamukpınar Village Institute, to the teachers who graduated from Pamukpınar Village Institute, to Sivas province and to the country were examined and evaluated. As a result of this research, Pamukpınar Village Institute carried out successful activities in the education of the society, in line with the principles of bottom-up enlightenment, in line with the main purpose of raising awareness and modernization of the villagers, just like the value village institutes, and besides this main purpose, the province of Sivas and surrounding provinces with culture, art, education and social life. It has been determined that it has made great contributions to the subjects.
