Özet

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı teknoloji entegrasyon modeli temelli uygulama örneğinin ilkokul 1.sınıf öğrencilerinin bazı okuma değişkenlerine etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma, tek grup son test zayıf deneysel desen ile tek grup ön test-son test zayıf deneysel desende tasarlanmış, elde edilen verileri desteklemek için nitel araştırma yönteminden de yararlanmıştır. İlk okuma yazma öğretimi sürecinde yürütülen araştırmanın 18 haftası ses esaslı yönteme dayalı öğretim ve 3 haftası bağımsız okuma çalışmaları olmak üzere toplamda 21 haftada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen orta sosyoekonomik düzeyde bir ilkokulun bir şubesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 30 ilkokul 1.sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde bağımlı t-testi, bir örneklem için t-testi, basit doğrusal regresyon, betimsel istatistikler ve içerik analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Teknoloji entegrasyon modeli temelli uygulama örneği ilkokul 1.sınıf öğrencilerinin sesbilgisel farkındalık becerilerinin gelişimi, okumaya geçiş süreleri ile kâğıttan ve ekrandan okuma hızı ve düzeyleri üstünde etkili olmuştur. İlkokul 1.sınıf öğrencileri ekrandan okumada kâğıttan okumaya göre daha az okuma hatası yapmış ve öğrencilerin ekrandan okuma düzeylerinin daha iyi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin okumaya yönelik tutumlarının oldukça yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Okuma yazma e-portfolyo puanları ise kâğıttan ve ekrandan okuma hızlarının anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olmuştur.

The main purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the technology integration model-based application on some reading variables of primary school 1st grade students. For this purpose, the research was designed in a single-group post-test weak experimental design and a single-group pre-test-post-test weak experimental design, and also benefited from the qualitative research method to support the data obtained. The research, which was carried out in the first literacy teaching process, was carried out in 21 weeks in total, 18 weeks of which were sound-based method-based teaching and 3 weeks of independent reading activities. The participants of the research consisted of 30 first-year primary school students attending a primary school at the middle socioeconomic level determined by the criterion sampling method. In the analysis of research data, dependent t-test, t-test for a sample, simple linear regression, descriptive statistics and content analysis were used. The application sample based on the technology integration model has been effective on the development of phonological awareness skills of primary school 1st grade students, their transition time to reading, and their reading speed and levels from paper and screen. It was determined that primary school 1st grade students made fewer reading errors in reading from the screen than reading from the paper, and the students' reading levels from the screen were better. It was determined that students' attitudes towards reading were quite high and also literacy e-portfolio scores were a significant predictor of paper and screen reading speeds.
