The early childhood period is highly critical for the individuals to grow up as physically, socially, psychologically and mentally healthy individuals. For the refugee children, early education is even more important, since it is the most effective way for them to get adapted to their new environment and to gain the feeling of belonging and self-confidence, as a result. However, there exist certain challenges with providing education to the refugee children. The main aims and objectives of the current research were to explore the early childhood among refugee children, to identify the effects of early childhood education among the refugee children, and to explore the challenges of providing refugee children with education. Different policies of UK, Turkey, Germany and Australia are compared in terms of the effectiveness of the education for the refugee children. According to the results of the research, it is found out that the education is the prerequisite for the refugee children to complete their social, mental and psychological development and for them to get adapted to their new environment. The most important advantage of the education for the refugee children is found to be the self-confidence it brings to the children, especially as they for friendships with their peers in schools and as they are accepted by the society if they get a good education and if they learn the language of their host country properly. At that point, it is highly critical to start the education of the refugee children at an early age, at pre-schools or kindergartens if possible, since language learning and adaptation processes are significantly easier at 0-6 age group.
