Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı COVID-19 sürecinde uygulanmaya başlanan uzaktan eğitim süreçlerinin öğretmen – öğrenci ve velilerin görüşlerine göre olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerinin saptanmasıdır. Durum çalışması olarak tasarlanan bu çalışmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmada nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden mülakat ve doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu olarak Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı özel bir lise ile irtibat kurularak çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda uzaktan eğitim görüşleri hakkında bilgi almak amacıyla 10 öğretmen 10 öğrenci ve 10 veli ile Google Meet programı üzerinden online olacak şekilde ses ve görüntü kayıtlı mülakat yapılmış, mülakatta daha önceden hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu soruları yöneltilerek uzaktan eğitim görüşleri alınmıştır. Daha sonrasında kayıt altına alınan görüşmeler dinlenerek aynı sorulara benzer cevap veren her öğretmen öğrenci ve velinin görüşleri frekans sıklığına göre sıralanarak tablolar oluşturulmuştur. Hazırlanan tablolar doğrultusunda temalar oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda COVID-19 döneminde uygulanan uzaktan eğitimin olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerinin neler olduğu hakkında bulgular elde edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre uzaktan eğitim sürecinin yüz yüze eğitim kadar verimli olamadığı, öğrenci görüşlerine göre özel okulların devlet okullarından daha ilgili olduğu, öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitimin sürecinde daha çok ders çalışmaya vakit ayırabildikleri, öğrencilerin öğretmenlerine uzaktan eğitim sürecinde her an ulaşabildikleri için uzaktan eğitim sürecini olumlu geçirdiği, öğrencilerin teknik problemleri sebep göstererek derse girmek istemedikleri, öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitimde yüzyüze eğitimdeki gibi bir ortamları olmadığı için derslere odaklanmada problemler yaşadıkları, uzaktan eğitimde derse katılım oranlarının düştüğü, öğrencilerin aileleriyle daha çok vakit geçirdikleri için öğrenci-ebeveyler arasındaki iletişimin olumlu yönde etkilendiği ve aile içi sosyal etkinlikler yaparak ilişkilerin daha da iyi olması yönünde çaba sarf edildiği, ders içeriklerinin eksik ve ders sürelerinin kısa kaldığı, öğrencilerin EBA TV'ye yoğunluğa bağlı olarak bağlantı problemleri yaşadıkları anlaşılmıştır. Tüm bu bulgular ışığında ileride COVID-19 gibi zorunlu uzaktan eğitim süreçlerinde neler yapılabileceğiyle ilgili somut öneriler tartışılmıştır.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and negative aspects of the distance education processes, which started to be implemented during the COVID-19 process, according to the opinions of teachers, students and parents. In this study, which was designed as a case study, descriptive survey model was used. For this purpose, interview and document analysis, which are qualitative data collection techniques, were used in the study. As a working group, a private high school affiliated to the Ministry of National Education was contacted and in order to get information about distance education views in line with the purpose of the study, 10 teachers, 10 students and 10 parents were interviewed online via Google Meet program with audio and video recordings. Distance education opinions were received by asking structured interview form questions. Then, by listening to the interviews, the views of each teacher, student and parent who gave similar answers to the same question were arranged according to frequency frequency and tables were created. Themes were created in line with the prepared tables. As a result of the research, findings were obtained about the positive and negative aspects of distance education applied during the COVID-19 period. According to the findings obtained from the research, the distance education process is not as efficient as face-to-face education, private schools are more relevant than public schools according to my student views, students can spend more time studying during the distance education process, and students can reach their teachers at any time during the distance education process. students do not want to attend the class because of technical problems, students have problems in focusing on lessons because they do not have an environment like face-to-face education in distance education, the rate of participation in distance education decreases, the communication between students and parents is positively affected because students spend more time with their families, and family It is seen that efforts are made to make the relations even better by doing social activities, the course contents are incomplete and the course durations are short, the students have connection problems due to the intensity of EBA TV. have been exceeded. In the light of all these findings, concrete suggestions about what can be done in compulsory distance education processes such as COVID-19 in the future are discussed.
