Özet
Bu çalışmada güzel sanatlar lisesi müzik bölümünün tercih edilmesinde etkili olan faktörlerin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla literatür taraması ve anket uygulamasından elde edilen bulgular incelenmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak iki bölümden oluşan anket formundan yararlanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracının birinci bölümünde demografik bilgi formu; ikinci bölümünde müzik tercihinde etkili olduğu düşünülen ve literatürdeki bilgilerden yararlanılarak Cengiz (2006) tarafından geliştirilen“Okul Tercih Nedenleri Formu”yer almıştır. Formda yer alan faktörlerin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı 0,91 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya Karadeniz bölgesinin batı, orta ve doğu kesimlerinde bulunan güzel sanatlar liselerinin müzik bölümünde öğrenim gören 55 dokuzuncu sınıf öğrencisi dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre güzel sanatlar lisesi müzik bölümü öğrencilerinin bölüm tercihinde en önemli faktörlerin bireyin ilgi, yetenek, kendi istek ve beklentileri olduğu görülmüştür. Bölüm tercihinde etkili olan bireysel ve okula ait faktörlerin öğrencilerin cinsiyeti, anne öğrenim durumu, baba mesleği, ailenin aylık geliri, kendisine ait oda olması durumu, ailenin sahip olduğu maddi varlıklar, kardeş sayısı, evdeki kişi sayısı, ortaöğretim giriş sınavlarına hazırlık için dershane/kursa gitme durumu, üniversiteye gitme isteği, eğitim-öğretim masrafları için burs veya yardım alma durumu, okulun bulunduğu il değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği sonuçları elde edilmiştir. Güzel sanatlar lisesi müzik bölümü tercihinde bireysel faktörler ve okula ait faktörlerin baba öğrenim durumuna göre anlamlı düzeyde farklı olduğu; bireysel faktörlerin anne mesleğine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği saptanmıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the factors that are effective in the preference of the music department of fine arts high school with the information obtained by reaching various studies with literature review and survey study. In the study, a questionnaire form consisting of two parts was used as a data collection tool. In the first part of the data collection tool is included the demographic information form, and in the second part, the“School Preference Reasons Form”created by the Cengiz (2006). The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the factors in the form was determined as 0.91. The data were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 statistical program. 55 ninth grade students studying in the music department of fine arts high schools in the western, central and eastern parts of the Black Sea region were included in the research. According to the findings obtained from the research, it was seen that the most important factors in the preference of the students of the music department of the fine arts high school were the interest, ability, own wishes and expectations of the individual. It was determined that the individual and school factors affecting the department preference did not differ significantly according to the gender of the students and the mother's education status, father's occupation, family's monthly income, own room, financial assets owned by the family, number of siblings, number of people in the house, going to a private course/course for preparation for secondary education entrance exams, willingness to go to university, status of receiving scholarships or assistance for educational expenses, province where the school is located variables. In the choice of music department of fine arts high school, individual factors and school factors were significantly different according to the father's education status; it was found that individual factors showed significant differences according to the mother's profession.
