Özet
Rekabetin üst seviyelerde yaşandığı günümüz ekonomisinde işletmeler ayakta kalabilmek için rakiplerinden farklılaşmak zorundadır. İşletmeler de bu farklılaşmayı entelektüel sermaye işletme performansına yaptıkları yatırım ve bu yatırımın çıktısı olan sosyal zekâ ile ilgili yaptıkları çalışmalarla ortaya koymaktadır. Bu farklılaşma da beraberinde işletmelere rekabet avantajı sağlayarak, işletmelerin varlığını sürdürmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışma ile entelektüel sermayenin işletme performansı üzerindeki etkisinin ölçülmesi ve bu etkide sosyal zekânın düzenleyici rolünün belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Aralık 2020-Aralık 2021 ayları arasında İstanbul'da faaliyet gösteren 5 yıldızlık otellerde çalışan bireylere yönelik bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda yapılan analizlere göre entelektüel sermayenin hem işletme performansı hem de sosyal zekâ üzerinde pozitif yönlü ve kuvvetli bir etkiye sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sosyal zekânın düzenleyicilik etkisi için yapılan analizlerin soncunda sosyal zekânın entelektüel sermaye ve işletme performansı arasında düzenleyicilik etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sosyal zekânın düzenleyici etkisi entelektüel sermaye ve işletme performansı arasındaki ilişkiyi daha da güçlendirmiştir

In today's economy, where competition is at the highest levels, businesses have to differentiate themselves from their competitors in order to survive. Businesses also reveal this differentiation through their investments in intellectual capital business performance and their studies related to social intelligence, which is the output of this investment. This differentiation also provides a competitive advantage to the enterprises and ensures that the enterprises continue to exist. The aim of this study is to measure the effect of intellectual capital on business performance and to determine the regulatory role of social intelligence in this effect. A survey was conducted for individuals working in 5-star hotels operating in Istanbul. December 2020-December 2021. For this purpose, a survey was conducted for individuals working in 5-star hotels operating in Istanbul. The survey method was used as a data collection tool in the study. According to the analyses conducted as a result of the research, it was concluded that intellectual capital has a positive and strong effect on both business performance and social intelligence. At the end of the analyses conducted for the decency effect of social intelligence, it was found that social intelligence has a decency effect on intellectual capital and business performance. The decelerating effect of social intelligence has further strengthened the relationship between intellectual capital and business performance.
