Özet
Araştırmanın temel amacı, 8. Sınıf T.C İnkılap Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi öğretimine yönelik olarak yapılan anlatım biçimlerinin öğrenme üzerine etkisini öğrencinin akademik başarısı ve tutumu açısından değerlendirmektir. Bu araştırmada Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti İnkılap Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi öğretim planı kapsamında, tarihi dizi, film ve belgesellerle desteklenen ve geleneksel yöntemler ile müfredata uygun öğretim yapılan iki ayrı sınıftaki öğrencilerin derse karşı tutumları ve başarı düzeyleri karşılaştırılmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu sekizinci sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya ortaokul düzeyi amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kapsamında 48 öğrenci katılmaktadır. Araştırmanın uygulaması 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılı I. döneminde İstanbul ili Pendik ilçesinde bulunan özel bir okulun ortaöğretim kurumunda yapılmaktadır. Çalışma nicel ve nitel verilerin kullanıldığı karma bir araştırmadır. Bir sınıfın deney ve diğer sınıfın kontrol grubu olduğu araştırmada katılımcılar geleneksel öğretim ve tarihi film, dizi ve belgesellerle desteklenen öğretim yöntemi uygulanmak üzere iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Araştırma, araştırmacı tarafından üç haftalık bir süreçte müfredat kapsamında gerçekleştirilmektedir. Öğretim yöntemlerinin öğrenme sürecine etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla katılımcılara ön test ve son test uygulaması yapılarak başarı düzeyleri karşılaştırılırken, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti İnkılap Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersine ilişkin tutumlarını ve bu tutumlarda meydana gelen değişimleri incelemek amacıyla tutum ölçeği uygulanmaktadır. Ölçek ve başarı testlerinden elde edilen veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada ulaşılan en önemli nokta, film, dizi ve belgesellerle desteklenen sınıflarda yapılan ön test ve son test değerlendirmeleri arasında belirgin yükseliştir. Bu durum uygulanan tutum ölçeklerinde de görülmektedir. Analiz sonuçları doğrultusunda, tarihi dizi, film ve belgesellerin öğrenme sürecinde katılımcıların akademik başarı ve derse dair tutumlarında olumlu yönde arttırdığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

The main objective of the research is to assess the impact of the narration styles made for the 8th grade Turkish Revolution History and Kemalism course teaching on learning in terms of the academic success and attitude of the student. In this research, the attitudes and achievement levels of the students in two separate classes, supported by historical TV series, films and documentaries and taught in accordance with the curriculum, are compared within the scope of the Ministry of National Education, Republic of Turkey, Revolution History and Kemalism course teaching plan. The study group of the research consists of eighth grade students. 48 students participated in the research within the scope of secondary school level purposeful sampling method. The application of the research is carried out in the secondary education institution of a private school in the Pendik district of Istanbul in the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The study is a mixed research using quantitative and qualitative data. In the research, where one class was the experimental group and the other class was the control group, the participants were divided into two groups: traditional teaching and teaching method supported by historical films, series and documentaries. The research is carried out by the researcher in a three-week period within the scope of the curriculum. In order to evaluate the effect of teaching methods on the learning process, pre-test and post-test are applied to the participants and their success levels are compared. The data obtained from the scale and achievement tests were analyzed using the SPSS program. The most important point reached in the research is the significant increase in the pre-test and post-test evaluations made in classes supported by movies, TV series and documentaries. This situation is also seen in the attitude scales applied. In line with the results of the analysis, it was concluded that historical TV series, films and documentaries positively increased the academic achievement and attitudes of the participants towards the course in the learning process.
