Özet
Bu çalışmada; Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi'nde (1923-1950) benimsenen Bauhaus temelli sanat eğitimi modelinin, dönemin plastik sanatlara olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın zemininde, İngiltere'de gerçekleşen Sanayi Devrimi ile toplumsal hayatın ve sanat alanlarının geçirdiği aşamalardan bahsedilmiştir. Endüstrileşme ile birlikte fabrikaların ortaya çıkışı ve fabrikasyon ürünlerin seri üretim niteliği taşıması, el emeğine dayanan sanat dallarını olumsuz etkilemiştir. Yaşanan sıkıntılara tepki olarak gelişen Arts & Crafts hareketi ve bu hareketin temelinde ortaya çıkan Bauhaus eğitim sistemi ile sanat eğitimi alanlarında köklü bir değişim süreci yaşanmıştır. İlk olarak Almanya ve daha sonra tüm dünyaya yayılım sağlayan önemli etkiler gerçekleşmiştir. Cumhuriyet'in ilanı ile birlikte ülkemizde yaşanan toplu değişim ve yenilenmeler, sanat ve sanat eğitiminde de kendini göstemiştir. Bauhaus eğitim felsefesi ile benimsenen eğitim şekli modernleşme çabası içinde olan ülkemizde de önemli bir model oluşturmuştur. Bu süreçte devletin ve sanatçılarımızın, sanatın toplumsal işlevine verdikleri önem dikkat çekicidir. Sanatçıların, sanatı yurt genelinde yaygınlaştırıp yurt gezileri yapmaları ve çağdaş üsluplarla milli-yerel unsurları buluşturan sanat anlayışları ile hareket etmeleri, dönemin eğitim politikalarıyla örtüşmüştür. Araştırma, literatür tarama ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir.

In this study; The effect of the Bauhaus-based art education model adopted in the Early Republican Period (1923-1950) on the plastic arts of the period was examined. On the basis of the research, the stages of social life and art fields with the effect of the Industrial Revolution in England are mentioned. The emergence of factories with industrialization and mass-produced fabricated products adversely affected the branches of art based on manual labor. With the Arts & Crafts movement, which developed as a reaction to the difficulties experienced, and the Bauhaus education system that emerged on the basis of this movement, a radical change process was experienced in the fields of art education. Significant effects were realized, which spread first to Germany and then to the whole world. With the proclamation of the Republic, the collective changes and renewals experienced in our country also showed themselves in art and art education. The education style adopted with the Bauhaus education philosophy has also created an important model in our country, which is trying to modernize. In this process, the importance given to the social function of art by the state and our artists is remarkable. The fact that the artists spread the art throughout the country and made country tours and acted with an understanding of art that brought together contemporary styles and national-local elements coincided with the education policies of the period. The research was carried out using the literature review and content analysis method.
