Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı ilkokul 4. sınıf öğrencilerin tasarladıkları videolar aracılığı ile çevre farkındalığının önemli bir boyutu olan doğal kaynakları koruma ve kullanmaya yönelik farkındalık geliştirmelerini sağlamaktır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden eylem araştırması modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim döneminde Erzincan ili merkezine bağlı bulunan bir devlet okulunda, çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 27 ilkokul 4. sınıf öğrencisi, velileri ve sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri öğrenci yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, öğrenci videoları, platform yorumları, öz ve akran değerlendirme formları ve ilkokul öğrencilerinin doğal kaynakları koruma ve kullanmaya yönelik farkındalık, tutum ve davranışlarını belirlemeye yönelik anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Ayrıca veliler ve öğretmen için de yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen nitel veriler için içerik analizi yapılmış, nicel veriler için ise normal dağılım sergilemediği için nonparametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarında, çeşitleme, uzun süreli etkileşim, uzman incelemesi, denetleme tekniği, ayrıntılı bilgilendirme, verilerin doğrudan aktarımı, amaçlı örnekleme teyit ve tutarlık incelemeleri kullanılmıştır. Nitel ve nicel verilerinden elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öğrenci tasarımı video destekli öğretim sürecinin ilkokul öğrencilerinin doğal kaynak bilgileri, doğal kaynakları koruma kullanmaya yönelik farkındalık, tutum ve davranışları üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğunu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmanın öğrencilerin etkili video hazırlama ve yayınlama becerileri ile güvenli teknoloji kullanımını da olumlu etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışma grubu içerisinde yer alan sınıf öğretmeni ve velilerin, öğrencilere hem doğal kaynaklar hem de teknoloji kullanımında bilinçlilik sağladığı için süreci faydalı buldukları da çalışmanın sonuçları arasında yer almaktadır. This awareness is a crucial aspect of environmental consciousness, specifically focusing on conservation and sustainable utilization of natural resources. The research employed the action research model, a qualitative research method. The study group consisted of 27 4th-grade elementary school students, their parents, and the class teacher who voluntarily participated in the study during the 2022-2023 academic year at a state school located in the central district of Erzincan province. he research data were collected through a semi-structured interview form for students, student videos, platform comments, self and peer assessment forms, and a survey form aimed at determining the awareness, attitudes, and behaviors of primary school students regarding the conservation and use of natural resources. Additionally, semi-structured interview forms were utilized for parents and teachers. In addition, semi-structured interview forms were employed for parents and teachers. Content analysis was conducted for the qualitative data obtained, and non-parametric tests were used for quantitative data due to the lack of a normal distribution. In the validity and reliability studies, techniques such as triangulation, prolonged engagement, expert review, peer debriefing, detailed briefing, direct transfer of data, purposeful sampling confirmation, and consistency checks were employed. The findings obtained from qualitative and quantitative data indicate that the student-designed video-supported instructional process has a positive impact on the primary school students' knowledge of natural resources, awareness, attitudes, and behaviors towards the conservation and utilization of natural resources. Furthermore, it has been observed that the research positively influences students' effective video preparation and publishing skills as well as safe technology use. The results of the study also include feedback from the class teacher and parents within the study group, who found the process beneficial for providing awareness to students in both natural resource conservation and technology use.
