Özet

Ameliyat sonrası dönemde en çok gelişen komplikasyonlar solunum sistemi ile ilişkilidir. Solunum sistemi komplikasyonlarının önlenmesinde ve tedavisinde bazı egzersizler uygulanır. Hemşire ameliyat sonrası dönemde solunum egzersizi protokolünü başlatıp, süreci yönetip, bu uygulamaların takibini yaparak önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir. Aktif olarak kullanılan bu egzersizlerden biri olan insentif spirometre kullanımında hemşirelerin görüşleri ve bilgi düzeyleri önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma ile cerrahi kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerin ameliyat sonrası dönemde insentif spirometre kullanımı ile ilgili görüş ve bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışma 1 Kasım 2023-31 Mart 2024 tarihleri arasında bir üniversite hastanesinin yataklı cerrahi servislerinde yürütüldü. Verilerin toplanmasında“Hemşire Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu”, ''Hemşirelerin İnsentif Spirometre Kullanımına İlişkin Görüş Formu'' ve ''Hemşirelerin İnsentif Spirometre Kullanımı ile İlgili Bilgi Düzeyi Formu'' kullanıldı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler olarak sayı, yüzde ve ortalama±standart sapma (ort±s) kullanıldı. Araştırmanın örneklemine 180 hemşire dahil edildi. Katılımcıların %87,8'i kadın olup, hemşirelerin %22,2'si, insentif spirometre kullanımına ilişkin eğitim aldığını belirtmiştir. Çalışmada hemşirelerin insentif spirometre kullanımı konusunda bilgi puan ortalaması 100 üzerinden 81,79 (±7,791) olarak saptanmıştır. The most common complications in the postoperative period are related to the respiratory system. Some exercises are used in the prevention and treatment of respiratory system complications. The nurse plays an important role in the postoperative period by initiating the breathing exercise protocol, managing the process, and monitoring these practices. The opinions and knowledge levels of nurses are important in the use of Incentive spirometry, which is one of these actively used exercises. This study aimed to determine the opinions and knowledge levels of nurses working in surgical clinics regarding the use of incentive spirometry in the postoperative period. This descriptive study was conducted in the inpatient surgical services of a university hospital between 1 November 2023 and 31 March 2024.“Nurse Introductory Characteristics Form”,“Nurses' Opinion Form on Incentive Spirometer Use”and“Nurses' Knowledge Level Form on Incentive Spirometer Use”were used to collect data. Number, percentage and mean±standard deviation (mean±s) were used as descriptive statistics in the evaluation of the data. 180 nurses were included in the research sample. 87.8% of the participants were women, and 22.2% of the nurses stated that they had received training on the use of incentive spirometry.
