Özet
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Türkiye'nin çevre alanındaki en güçlü projelerinden biri olan Sıfır Atık Projesi'ni okul öncesi öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre incelemektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Çalışma gurubunu, amaçlı örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenen Zonguldak ilinin Alaplı ilçesinde devlet okullarında görev yapan 20 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemin seçiminde amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi ve ölçüt örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerinin toplanmasında yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Görüşmelerde elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın birinci alt problemi, okul öncesi öğretmenlerin sürdürülebilirlik kavramına ve sürdürülebilir çevre eğitimine yönelik görüşlerini anlamak, ikinci alt problem, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin Sıfır Atık Projesi'ne yönelik görüşlerini anlamayı hedeflemektir. Üçüncü alt problem, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin Sıfır Atık Projesi'ne ilişkin genel görüşlerini ele almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, sürdürülebilirlik ve çevre eğitimi konularında okul öncesi öğretmenlerin bilgi düzeyinin artırılması gerektiğini ve Sıfır Atık Projesi'nin etkin bir şekilde uygulanabilmesi için belediyelerin daha aktif rol alması gerektiğini göstermektedir.

The main aim of this study is to examine the Zero Waste Project, one of Turkey's most powerful projects in the environmental field, according to the views of preschool teachers. Case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The study group consists of 20 preschool teachers working in public schools in Alaplı district of Zonguldak province, determined by purposeful sampling method. In the selection of the sample, easily accessible case sampling and criterion sampling, which are among the purposeful sampling methods, were used. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect the data of the research. Content analysis method was used to analyze the data obtained from the interviews. The first sub-problem of the research is to understand the views of preschool teachers on the concept of sustainability and sustainable environmental education, the second sub-problem aims to understand the views of preschool teachers on the Zero Waste Project, and the third sub-problem is to understand the general views of preschool teachers on the Zero Waste Project. is addressed. The results of this study indicate the need to increase the knowledge level of preschool teachers in the fields of sustainability and environmental education, and the necessity for municipalities to take a more active role in effectively implementing the Zero Waste Project.
