Ayşegül Daloğlu Kasım 2000, 172 sayfa Bu tez expositer kompozisyonların analizinde çoklu zeka aktivitelerinin kullanılmasının expositer kompozisyon yazım performansı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektedir. Bu nicel ve yarı-deneysel çalışmada, pre-test post- test kontrol grup dizaynı kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kontrol ve deneysel gruplar üç örnek expositer kompozisyonu analiz etmişlerdir. Deneysel grup örnek kompozisyonları çoklu zeka aktiviteleri aracılığıyla incelemiştir. Her iki grup çalıışma öncesi ve sonrası expoziter kompozisyonlar yazmıştır. Çalışma öncesi yazılan kompozisyonlar pre-test, çalışma sonrası yazılan kompozisyonlar post-test olarak değerlendirilmiştir. İki grubun post-testsonuçlarının karşılaştırılması göstermiştir ki çoklu zekaları stimule edilen öğrenciler daha iyi ekspoziter kompozisyonlar yazmaktadırlar.

ABSTRACT EFFECT OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITIES ON EXPOSITORY ESSAY WRITING PERFORMANCE Sezginer, Yıldız Oya M. A., Department of Foreign Language Education Supervisor: Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Daloğlu November 2000, 172 Pages This study aims to investigate the effect of the use of multiple intelligences activities in the analysis of sample expository essays on expository essay writing performance. This was a quantitative quasi-experimental study, in which a pre-test, post-test control group design was used. Both experimental and control groups analyzed three sample expository essays. The treatment for the experimental group was achieved through the implementation of Ml activities during the analysis of the expository essays. Both groups were required to write expository essays before and after the instruction. Those essays written before the instruction were graded as pre-tests and those written at the end of the instruction as post-tests. The 111comparison of the post-test scores of the two groups showed that those students whose multiple intelligences were stimulated wrote better expository essays.
