Özet
Bu tez, Ludwig Wittgenstein'ın Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus adlı eserinde ortaya koyduğu dünya, düşünce ve mantık ilişkisini açıklamakla kalmayıp, bu sistemin ifade sınırları ile gösterme edimi arasındaki gerginliği yeniden yorumlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Temelini“Üzerine konuşulamayan hakkında susmalı”önermesi oluşturmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda dilin sınırları, düşüncenin yapısı ve gerçekliğin temsili sorunları ele alınmaktadır. Anlamlılık ile anlamsızlık arasında kalan metafizik, etik ve estetik alanların, dil dışı bir konumda nasıl değerlendirileceği sorgulanmaktadır. Tractatus'un yalnızca bir dil felsefesi metni değil, aynı zamanda içkin bir ontolojik ve epistemolojik sistem önerisi taşıdığı genel kabulü temel alınmakta; fakat bu sistemin sınırlarının, felsefenin sınırlarını mı belirlediği yoksa ötesine mi işaret ettiği tartışılmaktadır. Bu tez, Wittgenstein'ın söylediklerinden çok, sustuklarında ne anlattığını çözümlemeye çalışmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, Wittgenstein'ın felsefi gelişimi tarihsel bağlamda ele alınmış; Frege, Russell ve Viyana Çevresi'nin etkileri incelenmiştir. Tractatus'un bu mirasla kurduğu ilişki ve dilin mantıksal yapısını nasıl temellendirdiği tartışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, dil-düşünce-dünya ilişkisi; ontolojik yapı, düşüncenin anlam koşulları ve dilin işlevi bağlamında, resim kuramı çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Tractatus'un sınır anlayışının yalnızca dışlayıcı değil, dilin ötesine işaret eden bir yön taşıdığı savunulmaktadır. Metafizik, etik ve estetik, gösterilebilen fakat söylenemeyen anlam katmanları olarak değerlendirilmiştir.

This thesis not only analyzes the relationship between world, thought, and logic as presented in Ludwig Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, but also aims to reinterpret the tension between the limits of expression and the act of showing within this system. It is grounded in the proposition:“Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent.”Accordingly, it explores the boundaries of language, the structure of thought, and the problems of representing reality. The study questions how metaphysical, ethical, and aesthetic domains positioned between meaningfulness and meaninglessness can be evaluated from outside the scope of language. While the Tractatus is commonly regarded not only as a work of linguistic philosophy but also as an implicit ontological and epistemological system, this thesis examines whether the limits it proposes merely delineate the boundaries of philosophy or also point beyond them through a strategy of showing. Thus, it seeks to interpret not only what Wittgenstein says but also what he conveys through his silence. The first chapter addresses Wittgenstein's philosophical development within its historical context, examining the influence of Frege, Russell, and the Vienna Circle. It also discusses how the Tractatus engages with this intellectual legacy in grounding the logical structure of language. The second chapter elaborates on the relationship between language, thought, and the world, focusing on the ontological structure of reality, the conditions for meaningful thought, and the function of language within the framework of the picture theory. This study argues that the Tractatus' notion of limits is not merely exclusive but also indicates a dimension that points beyond language. Metaphysics, ethics, and aesthetics are thus treated as layers of meaning that can be shown but not said
