Özet

In this thesis, a new generalization of Stancu-Kantorovich operators depending on two parameters is considered. Firstly, the approximation theorem in the space of real valued continuous functions on compact interval is proved. Then, upper bounds for the rate of convergence by the sequences of this new operator via modulus of continuity and Peetre's K-functional are obtained. Finally, the approximation of sequences of the generalized Stancu-Kantorovich and classical Kantorovich operators to some functions for different parameters is shown by graphical and numerical examples.
