Özet

Bu çalışma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin şiddete yönelik tutumlarının ve şiddet yönetimi yeterliklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel desende gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın verileri, etik kurul ve kurum iznini takiben 22.10.2024 - 31.10.2024 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Haliç Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü'nde eğitim öğretime devam eden toplam 371 öğrenci oluşturmuş olup 229 öğrenci örneklemi oluşturmuştur. Veriler yüz yüze görüşülerek; Kişisel Bilgi Formu (EK-1), Hemşirelik Öğrencileri için Uygulama Alanlarında Şiddet Yönetimi Yeterlik Ölçeği (EK-2) ve Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (EK-3) ile toplanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizler SPSS 27 adlı paket program kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulguların yorumlanmasında frekans tabloları ve tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır. Parametrik yöntemlere uygun şekilde,“Independent Sample-t”test (t-tablo değeri),“ANOVA”test (F-tablo değeri) yöntemi, parametrik olmayan yöntemlere uygun şekilde,“Mann-Whitney U”test (Z-tablo değeri),“Kruskal-Wallis H”test (χ2-tablo değeri) ve Bonferroni düzeltmesi uygulanmıştır. Normal dağılıma sahip olmayan iki nicel değişkenin ilişkilerinin incelenmesinde“Spearman”korelasyon katsayısı kullanılmıştır. This study was conducted with a descriptive and cross-sectional design in order to determine the attitudes of nursing students towards violence and their violence management competencies. The data of the study were collected between 22.10.2024 and 31.10.2024 following the approval of the ethics committee and the institution. The universe of the study consisted of 371 students continuing their education at the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Haliç University, and the sample consisted of 229 students. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews using the Personal Information Form (ANNEX-1), Violence Management Competency Scale in Application Areas for Nursing Students (ANNEX-2) and Attitude Towards Violence in University Students Scale (ANNEX-3). Statistical analyses were performed using the SPSS 27 package program. Frequency tables and descriptive statistics were used in the interpretation of the findings. In accordance with parametric methods,“Independent Sample-t”test (t-table value),“ANOVA”test (F-table value) method was applied, and in accordance with non-parametric methods,“Mann-Whitney U”test (Z-table value),“Kruskal-Wallis H”test (χ2-table value) and Bonferroni correction were applied.
