Özet

ÖZET Bu çalışmada; Değişik Öğretim Yöntemlerinin Fizik Öğrencilerinin başarılarını etkilemekte midir? sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Bunun için 8 tane fizik deneyi Fizik bölümü öğrencilerinden oluşan toplam 52 öğrenci arasından seçilen; 8 öğrenci için bireysel deneyler, 12 öğrenci için grup deneyleri olarak yaptırılmıştır. 14 öğrenci grubuna da gösteri deneyi olarak izlettirilmiştir. Araştırmada 18 kişilik bir öğrenci grubuna klasik (teorik) yöntemle bu deney konulan anlatılmıştır.. Bütün öğrencilere bir öğrenci tanıma anketi uygulanarak gruplardaki öğrenci başarıları test yöntemiyle ölçülmüştür. Araştırmada alınan verilerin istatistik analizlerinden şu bulgular elde edilmiştir; 1. Deney grubu öğrencileri kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden daha başarılıdırlar. 2. Gruplardaki basan sırası; bireysel deney, grup deneyleri ve gösteri deneyleri şeklindedir. 3. Cinsiyetlere göre öğrencilerin deneylerdeki başanlan arasında anlamlı bir fark yoktur. 4. Farklı lise türlerinden gelen Fizik öğrencilerinin başanlan arasında anlamlı bir fark vardır.

SUMMARY In this study, it has been tried to find an answer to the fallowing guestion: Do the different teaching methods in physics affect the student's success? For this purpose, eights experiments from different topics in physics were chosen a group of 52 students who are the first year student the departments of physics involved in the investigation. The students divided into four differents groups. Each student from a group of 8 students did the eight experiments as individual. The group experiments were done by 12 students who were divided into eight groups. A group of 14 students has wachted the experiments demonstrated by their teacher. The classical lectures on the eight topics were given to a group of 18 students. This last group was taken as a control group. The success of each student in different groups was measured with the testing method. A demograpic survey was applied to each students. The results below were exctracted by applying the statistical methods to the data obtained in this study; 1. The experimental groups of students (individual and group experiments) are more succesfull than the control groups. 2. The success order from the most to less among the four different teaching methods is 1. individual experiment 2. group experiment and 3. teacher experement (demonstration). 3. There is no meaningfull difference in the successes of different sexes. 4. It was determined that there is a meaningfull difference in the successes of the physics students whose high school origins are different from eachother.
