ÖZET ABANT İZZET BAYSAL ÜNİVERSİTESİ BOLÜ MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULU BİLGİSAYAR OPERATÖRLÜĞÜ VE TEKNİKERLİĞİ BÖLÜMÜ BİRİNCİ SINIFINDA OKUTULAN BİLGİSAYAR DONANIMI DERSİNİN BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ EĞİTİM (BDE) AÇISINDAN ETKİLİLİĞİ Yıldız, Hker Yüksek Lisans, Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümü Tez Danışmanı : Yrd. Dr. Raşit ÖZEN Ekim 2000, 169 Sayfa Bu araştırmada, Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Bolu Meslek Yüksekokulu (BMYO) Bilgisayar Operatörlüğü ve Teknikerliği Bölümü birinci sınıfında okutulan Bilgisayar Donanımı dersinde, deneysel araştırma modeli uygulanarak, Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitim (BDE) modelinin etkililiği hakkında karar verebilmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 1999 - 2000 eğitim-öğretim yılında Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi, Bolu Meslek Yüksekokulu, Bilgisayar Operatörlüğü ve Teknikerliği Bölümü, 1. Sınıf Bilgisayar Donanımı dersini alan öğrenciler oluşturturmuştur. Evrenin tümüne ulaşma imkanı bulunduğundan örneklem alma yoluna gidilmemiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitimin etkililiğinin ne ölçüde gerçekleştiğini belirleyebilmek için, erişi testi ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ölçme aracı, ders başında (ön- iütest) ve ders sonunda (son-test) olmak üzere iki kez uygulanmıştır. Ön-test ve son-test farkından elde edilen veriler; aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, basan yüzdeleri ve t testi kullanılarak yorumlarda bulunulmuştur. Araştırmada aşağıdaki sonuca ulaşılmıştır. Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Bolu Meslek Yüksekokulu, Bilgisayar Operatörlüğü ve Teknikerliği Bölümü, 1. Sımf Bilgisayar Donanımı dersi hedeflerinin gerçekleşme düzeyi ile ilgili öğrencilerin öntest-sontest sonuçlarına göre, bilişsel alanın bütün basamaklarında Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitim lehine anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Buna göre Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitimin öğrenci başarısında etkili olduğu görülmüştür. IV

ABSTRACT THE EFFECUVTNESS OF COMPUTER AIDED EDUCATION OF THE FIRST YEAR COMPUTER HARDWARE COURSE AT THE COMPUTER OPERATIONS AND TECHNIQUES DEPARTME NT OF BOLU VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, ABANT İZZET BAYSAL UNIVERSITY Yıldız, İlker M. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Computer Aided Instruction in the first year of Computer Hardware course at Computer Operations and Techniques Department of Bolu Vocational School, Abant İzzet Baysal University. The subjects of this study were the first year students who took the Computer Hardware course at Computer Operations and Techniques Department of Bolu Vocational School, Abant îzzet Baysal University. During the study the whole subjects were reached as a result of this modelling process was not applied. During the study, the data was collected by the achievement test. The achievement test was given to the subjects in order to examine to what extend the Computer Aided Instruction was effective by the end of the course. The subjects were divided into two groups as the control group and the experimental group.During the study, the instrument (the achievement test) developed by the researcher, was given to the subjects at the beginning of the course as a pre-test and at the end of the course as a post-test. During the analysis of the data, the differences between the pre-test and the post-test results were compared and analysed. Also for the analysis of the tests' results, the mean and standart deviation scores and percentages of the achievement test and t-test were implemented. When the pre-test and post-test results of the first year students of Computer Hardware course at Computer Operations and Techniques Department of Bolu Vocational School, Abant İzzet Baysal University are examined by the end of the study, significant difference was found in favour of Computer Aided Instruction in terms of the stages of cognitive area is concerned. As a result of this, it could be said that by Computer Aided Instruction was effective and had an effect on the achievement levels of the students by the end of the course. 11
