This study aims to examine the perspective of woman of Turkish political parties, in the context of critics of feminist theory on some basic concepts of political science and law. In this view, how woman and man define politics and interact with politics is analysed in a comparative way. Equality, freedom, democracy, representation, participation, citizenship, power, politics, public and private sphere constitute the conceptual framework of this thesis. The thesis consists of three main chapters. In the first chapter, the method of the research, the techniques of gathering data and conceptual framework are introduced. The technique used in this research is qualitative research method. Data were collected through, over four and a half months in pilot local branch of a political party, the techniques of participant observation, face-to-face interview and oral and written text analysis. In the second chapter, the position of women in the programme of the parry is examined, in the light of the party's political position in Turkish political life and its women politics. The objective of the third chapter is to make relations between women, men and politics in this political party evident, in the light of data gathered through the techniques noted above.
