Özet
Bu araştırmada; ?Öğrencilerin akademik başarısında, buluş yoluyla fiziköğretimi, geleneksel yolla fizik öğretiminden daha etkili midir?? sorusuna cevaparanmıştır. Araştırma için 9. sınıfta gösterilen elektrik devreleri konusu seçilmiştir.Bu çalışmada, Soru-cevap tekniği, beyin fırtınası tekniği ve bulmaca tekniğini içerenbuluş yoluyla öğretme stratejisi kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın örneklemi, Ankara İli Yenimahalle İlçesi Mimar Sinan Lisesi 9.sınıflarından rastgele seçilen deney ve kontrol guruplarından oluşmaktadır. Gruplariçin sınıf belirlenmesi rastgele yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri; ?Öğrencilerin FiziğeOlan İlgilerini Tespit Etme Anketi? ve ?Fizik Dersi Başarı Testi? ile toplanmıştır.Verilerin analizinde Aritmetik Ortalama, Standart Sapma ve t Testi kullanılmıştır.Çalışma sonunda; Buluş yoluyla öğretme stratejisi'nin öğrenci başarısınaetkisi ile geleneksel öğretme yönteminin öğrenci başarısına etkisi arasında anlamlıbir fark görülmüştür. Araştırma, öğrencilerin fiziğe olan ilgilerinin artmasında buluşyoluyla öğretme stratejisinin daha etkili olduğunu da göstermektedir.

In this study; the question of ?Is the teaching physics with discovery moreeffective on student achievement than traditional physics teaching?? was answered.For the study, the subject, electrical circuits, at 9th grade was selected. In this study,the discovery strategy, which involves question and answer, brainstorming andpuzzle, were used.The population of the study consists of experimental and control groups thatselected randomly from 9th grade classes at Mimar Sinan High School, YenimahalleDistrict, Ankara. The selection of classes for the groups was done randomly. Thedata for the study were collected by; ?Students? Interest in Physics Questionnaire?,and ?Physics Achievement Test?. In data analysis, Arithmetic Mean, StandardDeviation and t Test were used.At the end of the study; a significant difference was found between the effectof teaching with discovery strategy and traditional teaching in terms of studentachievement. The study also showed that teaching with discovery strategy was moreeffective on developing students? interest in physics.
