Özet

41 ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı, beden eğitimi ve spor bölümü öğrencilerinin bu bölüme girmelerinde rol oynayan etkenler ve beklentilerini tesbit etmektir. Bu çalışmaya Gazi Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor bölümünde okuyan toplam 180 öğrenci (56 bayan 124 erkek) gönüllü olarak katıldılar. Öğrencilere 27 sorudan oluşan bir anket verildi. İstitistiksel analiz x2 testi kullanılarak yapıldı. Bu çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin bölüme girmelerinde rol oynayan faktörler aileleri, sosyal çevreleri, beden eğitimi öğretmeni ve uzun süredir spor yapıyor olmalarıdır. Ayrıca bu bölüme giren öğrencilerin %88.33'ünün idealleri doğrultusunda bölümü seçtikleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin beklentileri ise, beden eğitimi öğretmeni, hakem, antrenör ve spor yöneticisi olmaktır.

42 SUMMARY The purpose of this study is to find out the expectations and the reasons of students to choose the department of physical education and sprots. A total of 1 80 students who are studentin dept. of P.E. (56 female, 124 male) were voluntarily participated to study. A Questionnaire which has 27 Questions was given to the students. Statistical Analysis were done by using x2 test. As a result of this study factors which ingluenced students to participate dept. of P.E. are social environment, family, physicial edication teacher and long term participating sports. In addition 88.33 % of students who entered dept. of P.E. were choose through were also to be physical education teacher, referee and sports administrator.
