Özet
Bu çalışmada akademisyenler ve öğretmen görüşlerinden yola çıkaraköğretmen kimliğinin çözümlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Neo-liberal politikaların yaygınlaşması sonucunda daha önce kamu hizmetiolarak görülen sağlık ve eğitim gibi hizmetlerin sunumu ve dağıtımı piyasaişleyişi içinde yeniden biçimlenmeye başlamıştır. Bu hizmetler metalaştırılmış,diğer mal ve hizmetler ile aynı statüye indirilmiştir. Eğitimin ticarileştirilmesieğitimin ?maliyet?, ?verimlilik?, ?performans? ve ?standardizasyon? gibi piyasakavramlarıyla ele alınmasına ve sürecin önemli ölçüde dönüşmesine nedenolmuştur.Eğitim sürecinin önemli öğelerinden biri olana öğretmen ve öğretmenlikmesleği bu dönüşüm sürecinden etkilenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin kendilerini,toplumun öğretmeni ve öğretmelik mesleğini algılaması değişmeye başlamıştır.Neo-liberal ekonomi politikaları, öğretmen yetiştirme politikaları, öğretmenistihdam ve ücret politikaları süreç içerisinde öğretmenin toplum içerisindekistatüsünü aşındırmıştır.Betimsel model niteliğindeki bu araştırmada, 5'i kıdemli (15 yılın üzerinde),5'i genç (5 yıla kadar ) toplamda 10 öğretmen, 5'i eğitim bilimleri, 5'i öğretmenyetiştiren bölümlerde çalışan toplamda 10 akademisyen ile görüşülerek, nitel birçalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğretmen ve akademisyenler ile gerçekleştirilen?yarı yapılandırılmış derinlemesine görüşme? ile bu öğretmen veakademisyenlerin öğretmen kimliğini nasıl algıladıkları çözümlenmeyeçalışılmıştır.Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda neo-liberal ekonomi politikalarınöğretmen kimliği üzerinde meydana getirdiği değişimler çözümlenmiştir. Yeniöğretmenlerin, öğretmenin toplumsal işlevi konusunda diğer öğretmenlere göredaha az duyarlı oldukları betimlenmiştir.

In this study, the identification of a teacher according to the nations ofacademics and teacher is aimed.With the result of extending neoliberal politics, presentation anddistribution services such as health and education which were seen as publicservices have began to be formed again in the market mechanism. Theseservices have been materialized and lawered to the statue taht is same as otherbelongings and other services. Making education merchantile caused it to betalked with the concepts such as cost, productivity performance andstandardization, and caused it to change noticeably.One of the most important components of education process, teacherand teaching, have been affected by this transformation process. Teachershave begun to see themselves as the teachers of community and theirperception of teaching have begun to change also. Neoliberal economy politics,teacher employment, teacher education and payment politics have made thestaue of teachers eroded in the process.In this descriptive kind of research, a qualitive study has been carried outby negotiating with total ten teachers (five senior and five unexperienced). Andten acedemics. Five of whom work at the department of education science andfive of whom work at departments that educate teachers. It is tried to analysehow these teachers and academics perceive the identity of ateacher wiht thehelp of ?half-made inward negotiation? which is carried out wiht teachers andacademics.According to all these indications the changes that neoliberal economymade on teachers have been analysed. It has been described that the teacherswho are new at this job are less responsive to the social function of a teacherwhen compared with other teachers
