Özet
Duygu analizi bir verinin ne tür bir duyguya yatkın olduğunun analiz edilip, sınıflandırılmasıdır. Bir metin içerisinde kullanılan sözcüklerden o metnin ne tür bir duyguya sahip olduğu anlaşılabilmektedir. Duygu skoru ise duygu analizi sonucu elde edilen verilerden çıkarılan sayısal değerlerdir. Değişik alanlardaki veriler üzerine yapılan duygu analizleri sonucu elde edilen duygu skorları ilgili alanlarda ileriye dönük kestirimler yapılmasına büyük katkı sağlamaktadır. İleriye dönük kestirimler genel olarak makine öğrenmesi yöntemleri ile yapılmaktadır. Makine öğrenmesi sınıflandırıcıları verilerin istatiksel ve bilgisayar bilimleri gibi yöntemlerle sınıflandırılması olarak ifade edilebilir. Geleceğe dönük kestirim yapılan en önemli alanlardan bir tanesi ise borsa endeksleridir. Bist100 borsa endeksi ise Borsa İstanbul'daki en yüksek hacimli 100 hisse senedini göstermektedir. Bu doğrultuda çalışma kapsamında pandemi döneminde toplanan haber verilerinden çeşitli formüller ile duygu skorları elde edilmiştir. Daha sonra aynı tarihlerdeki borsa verileri edinilerek skorların tarihleriyle eşleştirilmiştir. İlgili skorlar, bir topluluk öğrenmesi yöntemi olan rassal orman makine öğrenmesi algoritması ile elde edilen Bist100 hisse senetlerinin artma ve azalma yönünü belirlemede kullanılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, borsa endeksleri kestirimlerinde büyük önem arz eden teknik indikatörlerden de yararlanılmıştır. Pandemi dönemi duygu skorları ve borsa teknik indikatörlerinin kullanımıyla borsa endeksi artma veya azalma yönü belirlenerek duygu skorlarının ve teknik indikatörlerin etkisi ölçülmüştür. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda, haber metinlerinden elde edilen duygu skorlarının borsa endeksi tahminlemesinde olumlu katkı yaptığı gözlemlenmiştir.

Sentiment analysis is the analysis and classification of what kind of emotion a data is prone to. From the words used in a text, it can be understood what kind of emotion that text has. On the other hand, sentiment score is numerical values extracted from the data obtained as a result of sentiment analysis. The sentiment scores obtained as a result of sentiment analysis on data in different fields make a great contribution to making forward-looking predictions in those fields. Forward predictions are generally made with machine learning methods. Machine learning classifiers can be expressed as the classification of data by methods such as statistical and computer science. One of the most important areas for predicting the future is stock market indices. The Bist100 stock market index, shows the 100 stocks with the highest volume in Borsa Istanbul. In this direction, within the scope of this study, emotion scores were obtained with various formulas from the news data of the Covid period. Then, the stock market data of the same dates were obtained and matched with the dates of the scores. These scores are used to determine the direction of increase or decrease of Bist100 stocks by random forest machine learning algorithm, which is an ensemble learning method. In addition, technical indicators, which have an importance in stock market indices estimations, were also used. The effect of emotion scores and technical indicators was measured by determining the direction of increase or decrease in the stock market index by using the Covid period emotion scores and stock market technical indicators. As a result of the study, it was observed that emotion scores and technical indicators contributed positively to stock market index estimation.
