Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı ülkemiz sınırları içerisinde 2019-2023 yılları arasında yayımlanmış yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin“değer”kavramı açısından incelenmesidir. Çalışma Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Yayın ve Dokümantasyon Daire Başkanlığı tarafından erişime açık olan tezlerle içinde“değerler, karakter, değer eğitimi, karakter ve değer”anahtar kelimeleri yazılarak elde edilen tezlerle sınırlıdır. Bu minvalde YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezinde gruplandırılmış 61 tez belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Yapılan doküman analizi sonucunda tezler üniversite, enstitü, anabilim dalı, tür, araştırmanın konusu, problem durumu, araştırma amacı, araştırma sınırlılıkları, yöntem/teknik/desen, örneklem/araştırma grubu, örneklem seçimi, veri toplama yöntemi, veri analiz yöntemi, incelenen kök değerler, değer belirleme kriterleri gibi ölçütlere göre değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen bu veriler genel olarak frekans ve yüzde değerlerine göre yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen tezlerde sadece değerler ve karakter eğitimi ana bilim dalında yayımlanan tezlerin en çok yayın yapan üniversitelerden birinin Erciyes Üniversitesi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, bu lisansüstü çalışmaların en fazla Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü' nde yayınlandığı görülmüştür. Bunun yanı sıra tezlerin en fazla 2019 yılında olduğu ve örneklem büyüklüğü olarak ise 50'ye varan katılımcılar ile çalışıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Veri toplama yöntemlerinde ise büyük çoğunluğunun doküman inceleme ve beraberinde içerik analizi veri analiz tekniği kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir.

The primary purpose of this research is to examine master's and doctoral theses published within the borders of our country between the years 2019-2023, which are accessible by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Publication and Documentation Department as of 01.01.2024. The scope of the research is limited to theses that include the keywords“values, character, value education, character and value”regardless of the discipline. Additionally, 61 theses categorized in the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Institution have been examined in line with determined nuances, and the findings obtained from the document analysis have been evaluated. The examined theses have been scrutinized based on the following criteria: thesis title, university, institute, discipline, type of thesis, subject of the research, problem statement, purpose of the research, limitations of the research, method/technique and design of the research, sample/research group, sample selection, data collection method, data analysis method, findings, conclusions, recommendations, examined root values, and value determination criteria. The data obtained have been generally interpreted according to frequencies and percentages. According to the conclusions reached as a result of the research; theses that were obtained by writing the keywords“values, character, value education, character and value”have been included regardless of the discipline. It has been determined that Erciyes University is one of the universities that published the most theses in the field of values and character education. When these studies are analyzed, it is observed that the majority of postgraduate studies have been published based on the Institute of Educational Sciences. In addition, it has been noted that the most theses were published in 2019, and the studies were conducted with up to 50 participants as the sample size. As for data collection methods, the majority used document review and content analysis as the data analysis technique.
