Özet
Bu araştırma etkileşimli kitap okumanın uyum sınıfı öğrencilerinin Türkçe dil becerilerine etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma yöntemi, ön test ve son test kontrol gruplarının bulunduğu yarı deneysel tasarım kullanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Çalışma grubunu, 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde, Konya ili Meram ilçesinde, Suriyeli öğrencilerin eğitim aldığı iki ilkokulun uyum sınıflarına devam eden 30 suriyeli öğrenciden oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem olarak kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Etkileşimli kitap okuma programının uygulandığı deney grubunda 16 öğrenci yer alırken, kontrol grubunda ise PIKTES + projesi kapsamında Türkçe öğretimi için hazırlanan yıllık çerçeve planına uygun yöntem ve yaklaşımların faydalanıldığı öğrenime devam eden 14 öğrenci yer almıştır. Grupların denklikleri belirlenmek üzere uygulama öncesinde“Yanlış Analiz Envanteri”her iki gruba da uygulanmıştır. Araştırmacı uyum sınıfı öğrencilerinin özelliklerini dikkate alarak etkileşimli kitap okuma programı hazırlamış, bu program deney grubu öğrencilerine 10 hafta boyunca araştırmacı tarafından uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubunda ise uyum sınıfı öğretmeni Yabancı Öğrenciler İçin Türkçe (Uyum Sınıfı İlkokul-3) (A1-A2) Çerçeve Yıllık Planı doğrultusunda Türkçe derslerine devam etmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen“Dil Becerileri Başarı Testi”kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu elde edilen veriler SPSS Statistics 21 paket programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları etkileşimli kitap okuma programının uygulandığı deney grubunda yer alan uyum sınıfı öğrencilerini Türkçe dinleme, konuşma, okuma ve yazma beceri düzeylerini geliştirdiği , PIKTES + projesince hazırlanan Yabancı Öğrenciler İçin Türkçe (Uyum Sınıfı İlkokul-3) (A1-A2) Çerçeve Yıllık Planı çerçevesinde uygulanan yöntem ve yaklaşımlarla öğrenim gören kontrol grubunda ise Türkçe dil beceri düzeyleri anlamında daha az gelişim olduğu görülmüştür.

This study aims to examine the effects of interactive book reading on the Turkish language skills of adaptation class students. The research method was designed using a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups. The study group consists of 30 Syrian students attending adaptation classes in two primary schools where Syrian students receive education in the Meram district of Konya province during the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The convenience sampling method was used as the sampling technique. The experimental group, in which the interactive book reading program was implemented, consisted of 16 students, while the control group included 14 students who continued their education using methods and approaches in accordance with the annual framework plan prepared for teaching Turkish within the scope of the PIKTES+ project. In order to determine the equivalence of the groups, the“The Informal Reading Inventory”was applied to both groups before the implementation. The researcher prepared an interactive book reading program by considering the characteristics of the adaptation class students, and this program was applied to the experimental group students by the researcher for 10 weeks. In the control group, the adaptation class teacher continued Turkish lessons in accordance with the Turkish for Foreign Students (Adaptation Class Primary School-3) (A1-A2) Annual Framework Plan. The“Language Skills Achievement Test”developed by the researcher was used as the data collection tool. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using the SPSS Statistics 21 package program. The research results showed that the interactive book reading program improved the Turkish listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills of the adaptation class students in the experimental group. However, in the control group, which was taught using the methods and approaches applied within the framework of the Turkish for Foreign Students (Adaptation Class Primary School-3) (A1-A2) Annual Framework Plan prepared by the PIKTES+ project, there was relatively less improvement in Turkish language skills.
